About me​

👋 Hi, my name is Ivan. I am AWS Serverless and TypeScript enthusiast.

I speak Slovak (C2), English (beer too) and JavaScript.

I like web development and everything related to it. As AWS Solutions architect my main focus is on AWS cloud-native web development. I like to read about new technology and I love to share my knowledge with anyone who is able to listen to me. Mostly by publishing blog posts or trying to get to various talks. Also I am open for any kind of consultancy.

I am very opinionated about tech stack, I like simplicity but I am open to discussion and I am not close-minded. I believe that each technology has its purpose and my goal is to find the right fit for any use-case instead of using wrong tool for the job.

I want to help small or medium businesses to achieve success by helping them with understanding AWS cloud-native infrastructures.

After years of experience working with various teams in various roles from lead developer through solutions arcitect to technical lead (CTO) I look at things from different perspective. I understand development but also project requirements and business value so I am able to bridge developer teams, project management and clients and help them to translate the requirements into functional application.

I am very real and I understand that sometimes things are not perfect. The business value is more than 100% test coverage and that when you won't ship you won't have customers.

I will be more than happy to talk about software development processes, best practices and modern ways of shipping the code within your company.
